La communication est essentielle. Temps au niveau de l’interne que des parties prenantes. Il s’agira de bien définir ses propres objectifs et de les communiquer de façons claires. Mais il s agira aussi d’embarquer tous les collaborateurs. Au-delà la communication, la RSE passe avant tout par l’action. Et pour que chacun se sente concerné, il s’agira qu’il devienne acteur. Diversity is so important in these times because innovation is at the foundation of sustainability. At the same time, diversity creates a fertile ground for innovation and, as if that weren't enough, in my experience, the higher the level of decision-making and, therefore, impact, the more diverse teams are required. This means that both senior management and boards should maintain diversity among their members in terms of gender, demographics, social backgrounds, different skills, competencies, nationalities, among others. Thus, the Board, which establishes the company's strategy, will be better prepared to make changes quickly and sustainably in the face of the abrupt environmental and social challenges we are experiencing as humanity.

It is an evolving field and continuous learning is absolutely necessary. In addition to the readings and the workshops, I find that talking to other professionals in the same field and sharing thoughts, experiences and recommendations to be most helpful.

El aprendizaje continuo nace de un buen mapa de actores, de una batería de indicadores estructurada y de la creación de varios caminos de retroalimentación, algunos potencialmente pueden ser anónimos con el fin de evitar sentirse evaluado o censurado. Posiblemente lo más valioso este en el que menos pensamos que pueda aportar. La RSC en una junta directiva hermética se quedará en planes y estrategias que mandan a realizar, los canales de retroalimentación y de comunicación harán que la RSC sea de todos para todos.
