Identifying peak hours is a big start in preparing for it ! In the fast food industry they use a level system that helps the leader tell his staff to prepare for a rush or peak hour! That same system could be adjusted to every type of business that deals with the public. In my case - Logistics and transportation shipment rush are normally towards the sailing of vessels on weekends, like everything else shippers always wait for the last minute. So we always have extra empty containers that we can add to the booking and have additional warehouse staff standing by in order to handle the loads. A great communication with the entire team! Is the key !
