As the leader, it is your job to make everyone feel seen and heard but not to pander to everyone's wishes. So, gather all the ideas and choose the ones YOU think are the best. Some will definitely get hurt along the way but them's the breaks. If you, as the leader, were supposed to make everyone happy, you should have become an ice cream seller.

I believe that the goals and potential reasons behind them need to be clear for all team members to see the bigger picture. Hopefully by expressing this they can rally and have a better understanding.

I think it's impossible to lead without being honest and candid! It is so important to be completely clear and fair . It's such a great point that acknowledging the importance of each goal is how you reach it!
