I think if we use the tools and strategies of nonviolent communication in its truest sense, we can contribute towards conflict resolution and constructive handling of any disputes. Through nonviolent communication, we can transform the negative communication to positive and healthy communication which will lead to respect, greater understanding of each other's perspectives, & acceptance of the views of all. Nonviolent communication contributes to meaningful dialogues, which is essential for resolution of the conflict and transformation of the heart.

Então muitas vezes é muito mais eficiente entender o objetivo a que se quer alcançar, do que provar ao outro aquilo que ele não consegue, não quer ou não aceita entender. A crença seja ela em uma política, uma prática de mercado, uma religião, uma filosofia etc., será um obstáculo, às vezes intransponível, para qualquer pensamento mais objetivo. Assim se pensar mais em contornar do que em convencer, usando argumentos mais próximos da realidade do outro, pode ser que tenha um caminho mais viável de sucesso para o seu objetivo.

It's surprising how often there are points critical to the other party that are not critical to us, and vice versa.

It you didn’t hear what the other person said allow them to repeat what they said, do not interrupt them and then wait a minute and repeat what they said. One of the biggest problems in conflict is too often we want to jump in and tell the other person what is wrong with their statement. When we listen to someone we ignore what we think And listen versus react. Also most of us our hearing is exaggerated by what you have been exposed to in your past. That is why you react. Unless that person is from your past you have no idea what is coming out of their mouth. Same with sight. We see things from our own past sights and no one sees the same.

Para isso acontecer, existem técnicas que partem da escuta ativa e acolhimento das partes, sem julgamento, como: heard da Disney e cnv (comunicação não violenta). A alternativa válida não quer dizer que todos irão concordar totalmente com os pontos, mas aceitam as condições e estão dispostos a abdicar de algo de sua imposição. Devemos ter consciência que fazer escolhas das ideias dos outros é uma "abdicação em dobro" de escolhas. Pois, não é apenas ter que escolher uma entre várias alternativas suas. É escolhe também do outro lado.
