My way is to keep my head down and take one step at a time. Also keeping a cool head and breaking tasks into smaller sub tasks helps.

I have found delegating and then prioritizing one's own tasks helpful. During delegation, I try to make sure that I assign tasks based on team member's abilities. Especially if there's a tight deadline, it is better to play it safe and assign tasks to those who can help you meet those deadlines. Be very clear on what is expected of them and by when. When it comes to one's own tasks, figure out the priority and then execute them one by one. Keeping tasks time-boxed, that is, allotting time slots to them, helps keep up. I try to carve out suitable time slots to complete my tasks. It is usually during the times before my team logs in or some time mid-day when everyone is preoccupied.
