Innovation is where knowledge about existing tools and resources, creative thinking and finally a problem that needs solving come together. A very good way to keep up to date on existing tools and technologies is by attending conferences, seminars, but also webinars. The best way to keep your creativity muscle in shape is through innovation workshops. And well problems - they become apparent through talking to people. So networking actively in any shape or form is of the utmost importance for Product Innovation.

Get out there - talk to people on various forums - online and offline - Workshops hosted by various companies - Startup events / Pitch nights - Conferences Online - Telegram groups - Whatsapp groups - Alumni product groups Put yourself out there, and don't just be a passive reader, contribute with some of your ideas a well. The more you give, the more you get.

In any space you will need to keep learning, and in a segment called Innovation, you'lll doubly need to stay ahead of most people. Consider this mental model: Awareness: Being aware of something existing Knowledge: Knowing what to do Wisdom: Knowing what not to do Awareness has no upper limit other than time - so keep sifting through news and updates to be aware of what all is happening. When you find something useful, consider investing the time to learn and adding it to your Knowledge bucket.

Make it an actve point to apply some of the ideas where possible. If its not possible, make a note of it in a sticky note to come back to, or add a ticket in jira for discussion later. Over time you should have a good bucketlist of ideas to keep experimenting on.
