If an influencer requests extra pay it’s important to understand why. First you mush consider is the request reasonable and can you accommodate. If you can and this is an influencer you plan on having a long term relationship with, do it! The act will go along way and you will get your value back. The influencer is incentivized to go the extra mile for you. If you can’t, explain why, but try to find another way to give him/her some additional value. Communicate that you can’t do it this time, but you can do something else. Ultimately, it’s about relationship building and finding common ground.
