Think green, act lean: Make sustainability a core part of your strategy, not just a checkbox. Set goals that wow: Aim for big, bold sustainability targets that align with your business vision. Get the whole gang on board: Rally your team around the cause—everyone’s got to row the boat! Measure like a maniac: Track your progress like it’s the World Cup—data is your MVP. Tell your green story: Shout your sustainability wins from the rooftops—it’s good for business and the planet. Keep it real: Stay transparent and authentic—greenwashing is out, real action is in.

I recommend to ask your larger customers what they want from your business now and in the future related to sustainability. This allows you to focus on some areas of sustainability and not tackle the entire sustainability area. By asking the customers (and other larger stakeholders) you secure that you are a supplier to them also in the future. This can be done independent of company size.

Engage with stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and investors, to align their interests with your sustainability goals. Transparent communication about your sustainability efforts can build trust and loyalty. Starting small but starting is a powerful approach when aligning sustainability goals with business impact

In addition to this, I think it's important to also understand what problem you're solving for your customers. Your business could be centred on an already solved problem that now calls for you to readjust your core business and make it relevant again so that it's sustainable.

I always believe in that If you want to fruit, focus on nurturing the seed and tree. Then, you will find out that in order to have fruit in its season, you might have the soil, water, sun, and prevent from harmful insect and weather. Even, you must grow certain plant together to prosper each other. By that, I mean you must have an eco-system. My 3E Wealth Ecosystem philosophy is to partner with the right services providers which are also the clients of each other to benefit all in this eco-system. In this 3E wealth ecosystem, it will be hard not to succeed and sustain the business.

Setting clear, measurable sustainability objectives is key. Ensure they align with business goals, are ambitious yet achievable, and contribute to both environmental impact and long-term success. Objectives might include reducing waste, lowering energy consumption, or enhancing community welfare.

Create a shared purpose. Have the team answer the following questions. After the team has answered these questions, ensure you facilitate/create clarity about the importance of achieving these goals. What is the background/reason for establishing this team? What should be our contribution as a team to the organization and its strategy? What are our objectives? How are others depending on our output as a team? What are our key drivers for successful performance as a team?

Priority 1: Retention of existing base creating delight. Satisfied consumers are the best advocates which we should always remember. Current clients are your family members and if you treat your family members right, then it will grow.
