When a stakeholder questions our CSR efforts, it is crucial to address their concerns effectively by being transparent, responsive, and backed by clear data. Understand the Concern: Before responding, listen carefully to the stakeholders specific area of concern. Refer to Legal Compliance: Ensure your CSR activities comply with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, and relevant CSR Rules. Impact and Reporting: Provide evidence of impact and accountability. Stakeholder Engagement: Emphasize that your CSR projects are designed based on community needs and stakeholder consultation. Address Unspent Funds or Deviations: If the concern relates to unspent CSR funds or project delays, provide explanations backed by law.

"When you are CSR professional think like stakeholder and when you are stakeholder think like CSR professional." This is common problem in CSR and one common reason is not involving stakeholders in CSR planning. It often happens that important stakeholders are not involved in CSR planning, designing and communication. It creates gap in understanding, communication and resolving issues. If they are valued, given importantance and involved in every process from starting, i believe there will be no issue of questioning of one's intention on CSR or anyother work.

One thing I found helpful before replying to any concern related to the stakeholders, I should first review the situation on the ground by visit the CBO and get all the information, then I need the be ready for the questions by make data analysis and record reports.
