Regularly revisiting your strategy with a fresh perspective helps you pivot quickly and stay relevant. Encourage a culture of innovation within your team—where experimentation is valued and learning from failures is part of the journey. Here’s how I’d keep a brand strategy nimble during disruptions (because change is inevitable, right?): 1: Watch the market like a hawk—spot shifts before they knock on your door. 2: Revisit what’s working—double down on strengths that still serve your audience (even in chaos). 3: Keep your plan loose—build in flexibility so you can pivot fast without scrambling. Agility isn’t optional—it’s how your brand stays ahead, even when the industry’s in flux.

It is a case by case situation and it depends on the type of disruption but in all cases I would observe objectively before taking any action. Thing is, industry disruptions come in waves and many times these waves don't last, leaving behind losses for those who jumped first on the opportunity. Some other times these disruptions end up changing the market outlook and if you don't adapt you end up behind, or even out of business. Look at Nokia for example, it was the most used and known phone yet it got wiped out of the market so quickly. So, basically what you need to do is observe, calculate, and jump in at the right time.
