Applying for jobs should only make up a small portion of your time. Many positions are already shortlisted before it even gets posted so your chances are low anyways.
A strategy that relies on applying for positions is a strategy that will lead you to settle, to be burnt out, overwhelmed, lost and confused.
Invest in a program that teaches you how to change your strategy to focus on networking. The competition on the market is no joke. You HAVE to do something smarter than what everyone else is doing.

Balancing online applications and networking can be challenging. Start by scheduling dedicated times for each activity—mornings for applications and afternoons for networking events. Use a calendar to track deadlines and event dates. Integrate your efforts by leveraging networking insights to tailor your applications and mentioning connections in your cover letters. Stay organized with a tracking system for applications and contacts, noting key details and follow-ups. Finally, ensure you balance job search activities with breaks to avoid burnout. Effective time management and integration will enhance your job search success and maintain a balanced approach.

Most people forget that networking is about quality, not quantity.
1/ Target a few key connections instead of spreading yourself too thin.
2/ Follow up after events with personalized messages to stay memorable.
3/ Balance your time by setting limits on job board applications and focus more on building relationships.
Networking often opens doors that applications alone can't.
