Having colleagues who are willing to advocate for a new product/way of working is definitely key. Not only does it show to the rest of the work force that someone outside of the decision maker values what it brings, but it also adds an additional level of support structure whereby they may feel more confident speaking to one of these champions to assist them with how it can be effectively used.
