I agree to a certain extent. From my previous experience in a recent project, I encountered similar concerns. You need to consider technical barriers such as installation and compatibility issues, which can lead to communication gaps. My primary concern is the over-reliance on technology; if there are technical issues or outages, communication may be hindered as well as training to effectively use the app which can be time consuming and may face resistance.

I got trough this and i think that too much informations is equal to no information. Mobile App are indeed crucial but that should be exclusive to key informations i.e main kpis from the activity overview. With this mobile app can become a way to bring more involvment rather than just a new cool toy app.
