Kansas City Invention Convention

The Kansas City Invention Convention (KCIC) is a STEMIE (STEM + Invention + Entrepreneurship) competition and outreach program presented by the Linda Hall Library that supports 17 counties and 31 school districts in the Kansas City metro area. KCIC teaches problem-solving and creativity to students in grades 5-12 and provides access to resources, workshops, and mentors who will help students develop their ideas from concept to prototype. By competing in KCIC, students have the opportunity to win cash prizes and a chance to compete at national and global competitions!
