  • The Society has a thorough and an effective complaints process please click here to make a complaint
  • The Society will not respond to emails which are either a complaint or which seek advice on a specific issue because all complaints must follow the complaints procedure, including being in writing and supported by a postal address and an original signature.

Q.  Do You Need Legal Advice?

The Society is not a legal advice centre and therefore cannot offer legal advice of a specific or general nature. If you have a legal query you need to consult with your own solicitor or simply click here to find a solicitor

Q.  How Do I Become A Solicitor?

The Law Society of Northern Ireland as the governing body of the solicitors' profession in Northern Ireland has in exercise of its statutory powers, prescribed the legal education and training necessary to qualify as a solicitor in Northern Ireland. There are several routes into the profession which are detailed below.
