San Francisco issues curfew on some Tenderloin stores

The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve legislation that would limit the operating hours of corner stores and smoke shops in the Tenderloin, in an effort to crack down on drug markets.

San Francisco is one step closer to welcoming pandas to its zoo. The Board of Supervisors voted this afternoon to green light the mayor's plan to seek private funds to pay for a new panda enclosure at the zoo. But as we report, not everyone is on board with the plan.

Giant pandas headed from China to San Francisco zoo

The San Francisco Zoo is set to receive a pair of giant pandas under a memorandum of understanding signed Thursday by Mayor London Breed and the China Wildlife Conservation Association.
