Jail records show he is being held on no bail. He was arrested on Wednesday at 9:02 p.m. and booked at Santa Rita Jail at 7 a.m. Thursday, according to online records.
When police were called out to the home by a neighbor, Joshi said they found "multiple firearms and significant evidence" linking the husband to the crime.
Police arrived to find the grandfather outside, injured.
"We believe he was injured inside the home or on the property and went to his neighbor’s house to call for help," said Joshi.
Chris, the neighbor who called 911, said he had blood all over his driveway. Other neighbors came over to help him clean it up.
