Walmart to close one of its locations in Placer County
Walmart is closing one of its stores in Placer County because it is not making enough revenue to stay open, according to a press release sent to KCRA 3.The location on 4080 Douglas Blvd. in Granite Bay will close its doors for good on April 12, including its pharmacy, the release said."We are grateful to the customers who have given us the privilege of serving them at our store in Granite Bay, CA," said Alicia Anger, a communications director for Walmart. "We look forward to continuing to serve them at any of seven other locations across the area, on walmart.com and through delivery to their home or business."Walmart has nearly 5,000 stores across the country, including three supercenters less than five miles from the Granite Bay location.See more coverage of top California stories here | Download our app.
