J.P. Morgan has been doing business in Peru for more than 120 years. The firm’s earliest physical presence in Peru dates to the 1968 opening of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company’s representative office in Lima, then in 1996 J.P. Morgan re-established a physical presence in Peru, opening a representative office in Lima. J.P. Morgan continued its expansion an opened its local subsidiary in 2017 under an investment banking license.
