Designed in collaboration with Swedish artist Ida Pettersson Preutz,  the equally playful and practical BRÖGGAN collection is made for effortless entertaining indoors, outside, home or away. So grab a beach bag, fill it with some outdoor treats and skip into the sunshine! It’s time to make the most of every deliciously bright moment this summer.

Let the sunshine in

Swirling circles, bright bursts of movement and dizzying dimensionality – Ida's pieces invite the eye in, around, and around again. For the BROGGÄN collection, she stayed true to her practice, while paying homage to IKEA’s historic love of colour and dots. Speaking about her inspiration for the collection Ida says, “The dot is a simple yet bold pattern and iconically IKEA. We also wanted to create a retro feeling with the shapes and colour combinations. The round shape in yellow looks like the sun, adding a summer vibe. I believe bright colours make us happy!”

1: Alfresco, darling! 

Long, relaxed afternoon lunches that seamlessly slip into evening festivities - those extra hours of warmth and light deserve to be celebrated! BRÖGGAN has been designed for easy outdoor entertaining. 2: You never regret a swim 

Is there anything quite as satisfying as diving into a cool body of water on a hot summer day? Pop a quick-drying BRÖGGAN cotton bath sheet into its matching beach bag and you’ll be prepared to leap into any lake, ocean or pool that presents itself to you.

3: Catch some rays

It’s not all about big activities, of course. Sometimes the greatest summer adventure lies between the covers of a great book.
