Members

The IAIS is a voluntary membership organisation of insurance supervisors and regulators from more than 200 jurisdictions, constituting 97% of the world’s insurance premiums. IAIS Membership is broad and diverse and representative of a heterogeneous group of insurance markets. More than half of IAIS Members come from emerging markets and developing economies.

Through agreement, Members recommend principles and standards and provide supervisory guidance.  Another important aspect of IAIS membership is that it provides a forum for members to share their experiences and understanding of insurance supervision and insurance markets.
