Insurance regulators and supervisors can apply for IAIS Membership. IAIS Members may:
- Participate in various IAIS events which promote access to supervisory information and help to establish better communication and cooperation amongst supervisors
- Serve on IAIS committees and subcommittees
- Receive helpful supervisory information and documentation
To check whether your organisation is already a Member of the IAIS please visit our Members page. If your organisation is already a Member, and you would like to request login credentials for the IAIS User Portal to access the Members Extranet and other tools, please click here.
If your organisation is not yet an IAIS Member, you may submit an application for Membership. The Member Application Form can be found at the right.
You may also submit the form via email or regular post: please download the form in PDF-format here and send the form and the accompanying documents to the IAIS.
Required accompanying documents:
- A description of your organisation and its responsibilities, in particular for insurance supervision
- An extract from the law or regulation that states your authority (in English)
- Confirmation that your authority does not underwrite, sell or otherwise provide insurance or reinsurance
- Any relevant information on your authority such as the annual report and website address.
