Now, let’s understand how we calculate Total Cost of Ownership?

The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is based on the initial purchase cost of hardware plus the on-going costs of ink or toner over a fixed period for example 1 year4, 2 years4 or 3 years4.

How do we calculate TCO?

TCO = Hardware Cost + Toner cost to print the desired number of pages for 1/2/3 years

  • Toner cost to print the desired number of pages = (Monthly print volume x 12 months4 - inbox toner2 page yield3)X(~toner page yield3) / ( MRSP1 of the toner2)
