Home Energy Week launches to highlight the best ways to save energy
Home Energy Week launches to show how it’s possible to easily and affordably make our homes more energy efficient and lower our energy bills
Homebuilding & Renovating is delighted to launch the UK’s first National Home Energy Week, a campaign to raise awareness of the ways we can all make our homes more energy efficient.
Escalating energy costs and the climate crisis mean there has never been a more crucial time to improve the energy efficiency of our homes. Ahead of energy price rises taking effect for millions of households from October, even in the wake of the newly-announced Energy Price Guarantee, saving energy is paramount.
In a Homebuilding & Renovating poll this summer, 72% of respondents said that they were worried about their energy bill payments.
National Home Energy Week, which runs from 26 September - 2 October, will be offering advice on energy efficiency, how to insulate your home and install renewables across Homebuilding & Renovating and Ideal Home.
Plus, fill in this quick survey and you could win a free home energy audit from architect Paul Testa, the director of HEM Architects and a specialist in low-energy design, to identify the priority areas in your home that offer the greatest energy savings.
What's more, the week will culminate in the London Homebuilding & Renovating Show, where energy efficiency experts will be on hand to offer you advice and guidance to help you lower your bills.
