Hoeven to Visit USDA Ag Research Station in Mandan

Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee and a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, will review agriculture research being conducted at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Northern Great Plains Research Lab in Mandan and gather input from the customer focus group, which is comprised of local producers, about research and priorities as work begins to craft the 2018 Farm Bill. As Agriculture Appropriations Committee Chairman, Hoeven crafts the fiscal year 2018 Agriculture Appropriations bill.
