Jacqueline Perkins OBE

Biography

Jacqueline Perkins arrived in Minsk in August 2019 to take up her appointment as HM Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus. Before this she was Deputy Ambassador at the British Embassy in Kuwait.

Jacqueline joined the FCDO in 1989. She has had overseas postings to Abu Dhabi, Cairo and Bahrain, as well as spending a year in Egypt on Arabic language training. At the FCDO in London she has worked on Germany, the EU and the Middle East.

Jacqueline studied Modern Languages (German and Russian) at the University of Cambridge and has an MA in International Relations from the University of Notre Dame in the USA.
