Brian Olley

Biography

Brian Olley served as His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Lithuania from September 2019 until September 2024. Brian joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 2002 and previous to this role was British High Commissioner in Cameroon.

His FCO career has covered a wide range of roles including working in Cyprus, Afghanistan and Finland. Mr Olley started his career in Her Majesty’s Forces where he served in New York (on secondment to the United Nations), Hong Kong, Nepal, Germany, Canada and the UK.
