The Pensions Ombudsman
The Pensions Ombudsman (PO) impartially investigates complaints from members of pension schemes (including personal pensions) or their beneficiaries, employers or trustees. As the Pension Protection Fund Ombudsman, the same person investigates complaints about the way people and their cases have been handled by the Pension Protection Fund and conducts appeals against decisions issued by the Financial Assistance Scheme.
PO is a tribunal of the Department for Work and Pensions.
