Authority
Northumberland National Park Authority conserves and enhances the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the Northumberland uplands – 405 square miles of hills and valleys stretching from Hadrian’s Wall northwards to the Cheviot Hills on the border with Scotland. It also promotes opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the area by the public.
Northumberland National Park Authority works with the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs.
