AFAICS there is such support in cloud - organizations, but not in an open-source version.
Simple mapping via YAML will work, i.e.:

auth:
  users:
    - name: Anonymous
      email: uptrace@localhost
      password: uptrace
      notify_by_email: true
      projects: [ids_or_names]

Or maybe you will accept a patch for this?

Yes, the patch would be welcome. I've tried to do this in the past, but unfortunately ClickHouse analyzer was not smart enough to use projections. Maybe it is smart enough now.

In the cloud we use materialized views and rewrite queries in the app. It is complex and I don't want to bring that complexity here.
