I live and breathe open source software.

While starting personal projects is fun, I think the real power of open source is in collaborating. Over the past years, I have created thousands of PR's to hundreds of repositories under almost 200 different organizations - on GitHub alone.

Projects on which I'm the main contributor/admin include:

• nethogs (linux network monitoring)
• https://notionwm.net (linux X11 window manager)
• https://linuxmusicians.com administration
• sbt-reproducible-builds
• ical2site (calendar aggregator, e.g. behind https://deventer.live)
• connbeat Elastic Beat for collection networking information

Additionally, I make many smaller and largers contributions to projects like:

• NixOS Linux distribution
• https://reproducible-builds.org - notably working towards reproducible NixOS images
• inkcut vinyl cutter software
• mastodon-bot
• FitNesse
• and many others

I am currently employed by Lightbend for working on the open source Akka toolkit.

With any donations, I intend to cover costs that benefit the projects I'm involved in (hosting, domain names, perhaps extra fun stuff like making and distributing stickers). At this point I'm not looking to use donations to justify taking time out of my full-time job to work more on open source. Perhaps in the future. I will keep good records that I will make available to any sponsors that are interested. If there are any funds that I cannot put to good use I will eventually make sure they are donated to another good cause, such as SPI.
