Hi,
Just installed mkchromecast with all requirements and soco, to control a pair of Sonos One SL from my Ubuntu laptop. It finds the speakers but crashes whenever I try to connect. Here is part of the log genereted by Ubuntu (sorry, I don't know how to copy paste it, I cannot rewrite all of it...). I'm not hoping to solve this issue right now, but maybe it can help later if other people encounter the same one.
Thank you.
Executable path: /usr/bin/mkchromecast
Package: mkchromecast 0.3.9~git20200902+db2964a-2
ProblemType: Crash
Title: mkchromecast crashed with AttributeError in stop_cast():'Nonetype' object has no attribute 'stop'
Traceback: File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/mkchromecast/systray.py", line 508, in stop_cast self.cast.quit_app()
AttributeError:'NoneType' object has no attribute 'quit_app'
During handling of the above exception, another exception occured:
File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/mkchromecast/systray.py", line 479, in pcastready self.stop_cast()
File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/mkchromecast/systray.py", line 512, in stop_cast self.stop_cast()
AttributeError:'NoneType' object has no attribute 'stop'
Thanks for the report. mkchromecast is still in the middle of a pretty significant refactor, and Sonos support will be completely redone as part of that, so hopefully this bug will be fixed by the time Sonos support comes back online.
