Unable to update extensions after updating VSCode to 1.96Β #236224

Type: Bug
After VSCode was updated to 1.96, all extensions could not be updated. After clicking the update button, the status of the extension was always "installing". This happened on both of my computers, so I guess it's not an environment problem. And I can see logs in "OUTPUT" window showing:
