The attic lights are continuously being switched off at the mains by folks when we aren't using the attic. I assume this is because the sensor light switches on as you walk past in the downstairs corridor and this seems like a waste of a light (and is very bright at night).
But because there is a storage room I use every other day there, I find this endlessly frustrating to have to remember to check the mains every time or get up there and have no light when I just switched on the mains earlier in the day.
So I've switched off the corridor light only on the switch board in the hopes this solves the problem and we can keep the other (non-automatic) attic lights available - a compromise.
