BSManager already has a button for desktop shortcuts, but also being able to create steam shortcuts to appear inside the steam library would be nice. I know you can add non steam games to steam easily, but it also requires manually setting the icon / banners to look nice, so it would be convenient to have this automated similar to how something like Heroic does.
