Looking at the way terminus works, it seems to register some HTTP route handlers following the express style (req, res) => {}. To use this with Actionhero we'd likely need to implement a plugin.

I wouldn't say a route handler but a listener yes, its designed to be used with any http service. It uses stoppable to control new connections and permit the clean exit of existing connections, this builds on that pattern to include a more robust management of the the start/stop signals.
