The attached VSP3 file (with a wing, a rib, a spar with cap), after doing FEM Structure -> Intersect -> Export CAD, makes a STP file that gives the error "1 shell with missing patches", and definitely displays wrong.

If you change the spar to shell, intersect, and export to CAD, the resulting STP file has the expected contents.
