Small Business Accounting & Bookkeeping Expert

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting and Bookkeeping Specialist to manage our company's weekly and monthly financial functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to handle multiple financial tasks with precision. Key Responsibilities: -Manage all aspects of weekly and monthly bookkeeping tasks. -Execute customer invoicing and follow up on accounts receivable. -Handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations. -Oversee commission calculations and distributions. -Conduct monthly account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and payment gateways. -Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. -Maintain orderly financial filing systems. -Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial legal requirements. -Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary information for annual audits. -Work closely with the management team to create financial reports and analysis for decision-making purposes. -Monitor financial transactions and report any irregularities to management. -Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficient in QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information. CPA or bookkeeping certification is a plus.
