Social Media Manager for Xiaohongshu – Educational Content Creation for English Learners

Job Description: I’m looking for a skilled social media expert to help manage and grow my Xiaohongshu (RED) account. My main goal is to attract students—both adults and younger learners (ages 8–18)—interested in improving their English skills and convert them into private students. Since Xiaohongshu does not allow direct advertising of private lessons(i think..), the focus will be on creating engaging, educational posts that showcase my expertise as an English teacher in a subtle but effective way. Responsibilities: Design and create visually appealing, high-quality posts (images, carousels, or short videos) for different audiences: Adults: Content focused on Business and Travel English, such as professional vocabulary, email writing tips, and conversational skills. Younger Learners (8–18): Fun, age-appropriate content, including vocabulary games, quizzes, and language challenges to make learning enjoyable. Engage with comments and followers to encourage discussions, build trust, and grow the account’s audience. Follow Xiaohongshu’s guidelines to ensure compliance while subtly promoting my teaching expertise. Optionally: Fully manage the account, including scheduling, posting, and analyzing engagement metrics. Requirements: Experience in creating and managing content for Xiaohongshu or similar Chinese social media platforms. Ability to create engaging, culturally relevant content for both younger and adult audiences. Understanding of educational content creation, with a creative approach to attracting and retaining followers. Proficiency in English (fluency in Chinese is a strong plus).
