I'm seeking a technology partner to develop a comprehensive SQL database, workflow, and reporting system from the ground up. This is a long-term project, anticipated to span over 6 months, followed by a need for continual updates and support.
High Level Objectives for Overall Project:
- creation of cloud based central data warehouse for systems and reporting
- dynamic forms
- workflow
- ability to send e-mails from forms/workflow with the opportunity to review and edit before sending
- create To Do list interface based on due dates and logic
- reporting
- ability to create API from website and other 3rd party software programs
- log-in profiles and access restrictions based on user rights
- setup hourly backups of information
- professional appearance and clean interface
- for ongoing service - quick response to maintenance or bug fixes
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with SQL and various SQL database management systems.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing workflow automation, particularly approval processes and data entry automation.
- Strong skills in developing reporting systems.
- Ability to provide ongoing support and updates post-project completion.
- Committed to building a long-term partnership.
Process:
We are a small start-up company in Oklahoma City, U.S. We do not have all the criteria outlined yet but will work to outline it as we go. The partner we select will help in the design phase and then will program the first phase. There will be many phases. Each phase will be bid by project and then also the hourly rate for modifications.
Bidding:
First project would be called the Investor Experience Workflow and would entail:
1. Building necessary database tables for storing investor information and sales details
2. Multiple prompts for data entry - both new data and appending records (these should be fairly simple but could be around 10 - 15 different forms)
3. Logic built into to determine which prompts to pull
4. E-mail templates stored to be sent via Outlook which can be pulled up based on various logic and then edited before sending. As they are sent, database is updated
5. To Do Lists for work created
6. Reports created
7. Log-in and user profiles
