I'm in need of an expert in AWS Cloud Maintenance and DevOps with substantial experience in managing AWS infrastructure. This project will primarily focus on maintaining our AWS infrastructure, which includes services like EC2, S3, Cloudwatch, IoT Core, Lambda, CDK, CodeDeploy, SQS, SES, SSO, and Amplify.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Alerts Setup: I need someone who can set up a robust monitoring system that can alert us to any issues in real-time, ensuring minimal downtime and swift responses to problems as they arise.
- Resource Optimization: As our usage of AWS services grows, it's crucial that we optimize our resources to keep costs manageable without sacrificing performance.
- Security Audits: Security is paramount. Regular audits of our AWS infrastructure will be necessary to identify and rectify any potential vulnerabilities.
- Backup and Recovery: I need a reliable backup and recovery plan in place to safeguard our data against any unforeseen incidents.
Ideal Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3, Cloudwatch, IoT Core, Lambda, CDK, CodeDeploy, SQS, SES, SSO, and Amplify.
- Proficient in DevOps practices and tools.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps would be and added advantage.
- Solid understanding of ReactJS and NodeJS for potential application development tasks.
- Experience in resource optimization, security audits, and backup and recovery strategies.
Duration:
The work is on as needed basis, including daily sync-up with dev team and first phase would last for 2 months.
