I create detailed and accurate 3D models of mechanical and industrial components, systems, and assemblies based on engineering specifications and requirements.
Utilize CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar) to design engineering solutions and develop prototypes.
Produce high-quality animations that showcase the function and operation of 3D models, highlighting key mechanical processes and movements.
Work closely with engineers and designers to understand the technical requirements and specifications for each model.
Ensure models adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing feasibility.
Modify and update 3D models based on feedback and iterative design processes.
Deliver 3D models in appropriate formats for production (e.g., STL, STEP, IGES) and collaborate with teams to ensure proper integration into CAM processes.
Maintain organized project files and documentation for efficient version control and project tracking.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in 3D CAD/CAM design, preferably with a focus on industrial or mechanical engineering projects.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Fusion 360, Siemens NX, or similar.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in producing high-quality animations for product demonstrations, presentations, or technical visualizations.
