I'm looking for a skilled video editor with a creative flair to transform approximately 75 clips of the Kolkata Durga Puja into a vibrant, engaging 1-minute reel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit a 1-minute reel from the provided clips. The final product should create a smooth, captivating narrative that encapsulates the spirit of Durga Puja in Kolkata.
- Introduce fresh, unique editing effects to improve the visual appeal. The final cut should have a modern, dynamic aesthetic.
- Skillfully apply transitions, overlays, and rhythmic cuts that resonate with the joyous atmosphere of the festival.
- Apply professional color grading to enhance the visual impact and mood of the reel.
Please note that while I plan to have a voice-over in the video, any suitable background music that fits the pace and tone of the festival is welcome. The voice-over will have a 'festive and lively' tone, and it's essential for the reel to highlight specific scenes and moments from the festival, including idol processions, cultural performances, and devotees and rituals.
Ideal candidates should have:
- A strong portfolio showcasing prior video editing work, particularly with event footage.
- Proficiency with editing software and a knack for creating visually appealing content.
- Experience with integrating voice-overs and matching visuals to audio.
