Throughout the semester, we'll divide our tasks into 3 or 4 SCRUM sprints. In each sprint, we'll plan the next phase of our work. To document our progress and the project stages, we'll use JIRA.
Students may form groups of between 1 and 9 members (in line with SCRUM methodology).
The topic of the project or application is open-ended, but we won't aim for a complete solution. However, the project must include a functional component, as it will be needed for one of our stages, which is testing.
An essential part of the project involves designing both functional and non-functional requirements, as well as proposing a suitable tech stack for the specific problem being solved.
In terms of functionality, this could include a complete CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operation for a single entity.
Another essential tool for our work will be a Git repository. Each group must set up a Git repository, and only projects within the repository will be reviewed. All elements we develop should be stored there, including a general project description, documentation, diagrams, and other schematics. This information should be organized in a README file within the repository.
The README must also clearly list all group members with their full names and student ID numbers.
We can use the [login to view URL] application for diagrams. Once the work is planned, you should begin the implementation phase, which can include just one piece of functionality. However, it's essential to create and implement unit tests for this functionality. All tasks and their progress should be documented in JIRA.
