We are looking for a freelancer with proven experience in fine-tuning Gemini and Ollama models, for text classification tasks. Our project involves a dataset composed of over 10,000 records of police reports, each classified into categories such as Robbery, Theft, Fraud, among others.
The training could be online, but the model should run locally, which, is already working.
Key Information:
All records are stored in our database, and we can export them to a JSONL format for training purposes.
Currently, without fine-tuning, we achieve an accuracy of 60%.
Objective: Achieve a classification accuracy above 90% by fine-tuning models.
The final model should be capable of receiving a new police report and accurately predicting the corresponding category.
Requirements:
Experience: Demonstrated expertise in fine-tuning Gemini and Ollama models for text classification.
Deliverable: Provide the complete code and process for fine-tuning the model, including preprocessing, training, and testing. The resulting model should:
Accept a police report as input.
Return the corresponding classification with high accuracy.
Language: Proficiency in Spanish NLP tasks is essential, as the dataset and classifications are entirely in Spanish.
Familiarity with manipulating JSONL datasets for training.
Expectations:
The freelancer should guide us in building a robust training pipeline and optimizing model performance.
Regular updates and documentation on the progress of the fine-tuning process.
Suggestions for improving the dataset, if necessary, to enhance the model’s effectiveness.
