I'm looking for a skilled IT professional who can manually partition my Dell EMC R540 PowerEdge server and install both Windows and Linux operating systems on it.
Key tasks include:
- Manual partitioning of the server to accommodate Windows OS and Linux OS alongside the existing Linux OS.
- Selecting an appropriate file system type for the Linux partition (if needed).
- Configuring the Windows OS to run as a Database server, a Web server, and a File sharing service.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Extensive experience with server setup and configuration, particularly with Dell EMC hardware.
- Proficiency in manual partitioning and a deep understanding of different file system types for Linux.
- Capability to configure Windows OS for various server roles.
It would be beneficial if you can provide suggestions for the Linux partition's file system type based on your expertise. Please note that the choice of file system type for Linux is currently undecided and I would appreciate your professional input on this.
