We are seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop a 30 KW DC fast charger based on the Infineon /OnSemi/ Microchip SiC module reference design.. The inverter will need to handle power ratings between 10 kW to 50 kW.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

- Background in power electronics

- Proven track record in inverter/fast charger design

- Experience in industrial applications and CANBus protocol

- Ability to design for power ratings between 10 kW to 50 kW

We are seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop a 30 KW DC fast charger based on the Infineon SiC module reference design. The ideal candidate will have experience in power electronics and familiarity with high-efficiency charging technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the charger meets performance and safety standards. Please provide examples of previous projects and any relevant certifications.

Switching Frequency - 40 KHz (AC - DC side)

DC Voltage - 530 V (standard Mode)

700 V (high voltage mode)

DC Current - 50 A (output)

Power - 30 KW (max)

Switching Frequency - 60 KHz (DC - DC side)

Cooling - Forced Air

Efficiency - 96%

Controller - AURIX™ TC375TP microcontroller or equivalent

Reference Design and demonstration module available.

Deliverables

1. PLECS simulation of AC-DC converter and DC - DC converter

1. Overall system design and modules

2. Schematic of each module in Altium

3. Power module PCB Design (same form factor as ATX) and BOM

4. Controller PCB as daughter board

5. Firmware for the controller (incremental changes from the reference design)

6. CANBus/Ethernet interface

7. Adding 3 phase AC contactor to the reference design

8. Thermal Analysis

9. Load testing
