Vehicle route planning - data entry and update

Please do not copy and paste a generic message here, otherwise your proposal will not be considered. Summary: I am a delivery driver and need daily support to fully optimise my route and save time. Responsibilities include data entry and route optimisation using software. Background information: I work for a delivery company in the UK and I am given a list of addresses to deliver parcels to. The list is semi-optimised meaning one delivery follows on from the next and we deliver in one area first to move onto the next. Some deliveries must be made at a fixed time, i.e. between 3-4 pm as customers pay for this service - this can mean changing areas during the route. By 'area' I mean neighbourhood. On any one day I can have 70 to 200 parcels to deliver, some of these parcels will be going to one place known as a 'stop'. There can be between 60 and 120 stops in any one day. The company I work for is not concerned about the efficiency of the route, i.e. how the stops are organised in the list, they are only concerned that we finish within 9 hours. However, my time is very important to me, I have a young family therefore I want to reduce my route time by 30-40% (i.e. reduce 9 hours to c. 6-7 hours). This is achievable as I have seen other drivers optimise their routes manually - for drivers that know their areas it is easy to optimise the list, however, for drivers like me that do not know the areas it is very difficult. Requirements in steps: 1. Every morning, between 6.30 am and 7.00 am I will provide a video showing the list of stops - the data must then be extracted - the data will be first line of address and postcode. Also, the delivery type will need to be extracted: normal delivery, collection & timed delivery. 2. The data must be saved to a standard csv template - I will provide this. 3. The csv must be uploaded to route optimisation software - I am using Workwave from [login to view URL] - it is very user friendly. 4. The stops will be fully optimised by Workwave, then the data needs exporting. 5. The original data will be matched to the new data using an app - this app will provide the information I need to reorganise the stops in my list. I will need a copy of this from you. 6. I will need a couple of reports. It is best we communicate via WhatsApp as this is the quickest and most user-friendly when I am out on the road. The above steps will be rolled out in 3 phases: a) Training phase - I will provide full training on the steps above - 1 week. b) Testing phase - we will do some very basic updates to my list - 2 weeks. c) Complete - we will be fully updating my list - when a) and b) are complete and we are happy. All phases above will be paid. Working days: Any day of the week between 6.30 am and 7.00 am. The work is likely to take around 30 minutes per day, possibly longer when you are getting used to the processes. Ideal person: Someone with a spare hour every morning, has good mapping skills and can take notes on any route issues and relate to them in the future in order to make the route more efficient.
