Contest Brief

I am looking for a poster/s design, that clearly highlights all key aspects of our boat cruise day trip tour. This should be in portrait orientation and usable effectively at both A3 & A4 scaling.

(Please note, a second similar project is also available and being posted at the same time. This is for another one of our animal themed tours. Whilst having the same general appearance for both posters is preferred for our continuity, it is NOT a requirement that you have submit something to both projects to be selected, provided you have kept within the outlined brief. The best fitting submission/s will be chosen on its own merit for each project individually, regardless of designer.)

Visuals
The visual elements of the poster should include either hand drawn or CGI illustrations depicting each of the following key tour items, (context for each is included for guidance but not necessarily needed to be shown within the depiction), and OPTIONALLY the inclusion of the final item which is included on both tours.
Must include;
•Traditional Laos Mekong River Boat - This is the main transportation for the tour (please see attached images for the appearance of these boats).
•Pottery/Terracotta jugs, bowls and pots- This is a visit to Ban Charn pottery village where local crafts people make items using traditional methods.
•Craft Villages - This is in relation to multiple small villages that we stop at to see traditional crafts of silk harvesting (from silk worms) and weaving (things like scarfs or clothing), paper making (mulch pressed) and whiskey making.
•Pak Ou Caves (Buddha cave) - Exploring these incredible natural formations on foot, you will see the thousands of Buddha statues left in the caves over centuries (for religious purposes).
•Pak Ou Caves (Cave boat) - Navigate through portions of the cave that have been partially submerged while using a different type of traditional long boat. With the guide you will follow the river through the cave and out the other side to a rest/lunch area.

Optional inclusion
• Mount Phousi at Sunset - (all our tours end with this item) Luang Prabang, Laos.

Illustrations need to clearly imply the inclusion of each tour item, but don’t necessarily have to depict the activities themselves if text is being included. For example there is no preference over having just an image of pottery, or someone making items on a potter’s wheel, or a description of the activity, providing the tour item is clearly visible and appropriately displayed with each item in-keeping with the overall poster design.

Text
It is less important as to the look itself of any text used or it being a specific font, provided it be appropriate and in-keeping to the overall look of the project. Most importantly any information included must be clearly stated both correctly and legibly.

•Our Company Logo - (scaled appropriately)

•Our Website Address - laosecotours.com (Please note the site currently at this address has not yet been updated and our new website is not yet live on this domain.)

•All Inclusive Tour - (Only pay once for the price of the tour, which includes;

-Water throughout the day)

This may also include (although not required) descriptions of the tour activities;

•Phousi Mountain Sunset, beautiful views overlooking the historical ancient (former) capital city Luang Prabang.

Theme
The theme should reflect a Southeast Asian jungle style, include our company colours (greens and white).
