Bubble Marketplace

I'm in the process of building a marketplace on Bubble and seeking a long-term collaborator. Initially, I need a scoring system that evaluates user-generated listings. As the project evolves, more complex features will be added. Key Tasks: - Develop a scoring system based on user-generated content, specifically, the listings they create. - Implement a manual entry system for listing items, with future integration of bulk upload capabilities and external API connections. - Design the data basis and workflows for listing items that requires input on product details, images, pricing, PDF's, category, and tags. - Build and manage core features such as product listings, a scoring system, user dashboards (buyer + seller + admin), messaging capabilities, email notifications and a robust search/filter function. - Ensure all designs are responsive, efficient, and scalable for both desktop and mobile devices - Collaborate with our internal team to refine features, provide technical insights, and propose solutions for cost-effective development. - Implement SEO-optimized pages, integrate third-party APIs, and oversee the design of a future-proof structure that can accommodate future expansions, including native mobile applications. - Ensure data security and compliance, adhering to industry standards like GDPR and incorporating features that support future ISO 27001 certification. - set up SAAS subscriber tiers, features, payment requests based on feature use and subscriber profile The ideal candidate should have: - Proficient skills as Product Management and Developer - Skilled in creating scoring systems and complex formulas - Familiarity with handling product details, PDF's and images, as well as pricing and availability data in Bubble - Excel or CSV for User uploads and downloads of information - Extensive experience developing in [login to view URL], with a solid portfolio showcasing successful SaaS marketplace builds or similar complex web applications. - Strong understanding of responsive web design, data structures, and workflow automation within Bubble. - Experience integrating third-party tools (e.g., payment processing, analytics, email services, etc.). - Familiarity with building and managing multi-user dashboards, e-commerce functionality, and database architecture. - Experience with payments integrations such as Stripe, in particular with user subscriber tiers and feature use. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to iterate on product development. The first project will be to assist with building the scoring system and database as a test case. - The scoring system is based on company and product data and comprises about 70 questions with multiple choice answers plus images of proof. - Each question will have a point score attributed to it based on the answers + proof supplied. - The scores from each question will contribute to a total weighted score of the product which will be displayed as an image.
